By joining the Tennessee State Roleplay network, you agree to adhere to the following standards of conduct and realism.
Treat all members with respect. Racism, sexism, homophobia, targeted harassment, or toxic behavior in OOC (Out of Character) chats will result in an immediate and permanent ban.
The use of third-party software, executors, or intentional abuse of in-game bugs to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited. Report all bugs to the development team.
Mic spamming, playing loud music over the microphone, or intentionally making disruptive noises in public channels is prohibited. Ensure your background noise is kept to a minimum.
You must remain in character at all times while on the server. Performing actions that are unrealistic in real life (e.g., driving a sports car off a cliff and continuing to drive, or pulling a heavy weapon out of thin air) is considered Fail RP.
You must value your character's life. If you have a weapon pointed at you and you do not currently have a weapon drawn, you must comply with the attacker's demands. Running away while under direct gunpoint is a violation of Fear RP.
If your character dies during a roleplay scenario, you forget everything that led up to your death. You may not return to the location of your death or interact with the individuals involved in that specific scene for at least 15 minutes.
Using information acquired Out of Character (such as Discord streams, OOC chat, or viewing name tags through walls) to influence your In-Character actions is strictly forbidden.
Attacking or killing another player without a valid roleplay reason and prior verbal initiation is prohibited. "I don't like his car" is not a valid reason to initiate lethal force.
Intentionally using a vehicle as a weapon to run over players without a valid, high-tier roleplay reason is strictly forbidden. Accidents happen, but using your car as a battering ram against pedestrians is VDM.
Intentionally committing crimes, doing burnouts, or driving recklessly directly in front of Law Enforcement solely to trigger a pursuit or get a reaction is not allowed.
Law Enforcement Officers must remain within their designated patrol zones unless requested for backup via dispatch or actively pursuing a suspect across county lines.
Officers must adhere to the Use of Force continuum. Lethal force is only authorized when there is an imminent threat to the life of the officer or the public. Shooting an unarmed fleeing suspect is a violation.
Law Enforcement and Emergency Service personnel are not permitted to engage in corrupt roleplay (e.g., selling department weapons, assisting criminal organizations) without explicit written consent from the Server Administration.
